Description

Product Overview

The XH‑Ku‑TA83 Ku-Band 16-Channel Standardized Subarray is a miniaturized standard array unit designed for mass deployment of compact phased array systems. It integrates multi-channel silicon-based chips and microwave multilayer PCB in one unit, with 16 transceiving channels in a regular 4×4 layout. It independently performs RF transceiving, 2D beam scanning, status monitoring and channel self-test.
Manufactured with mature SMT process, this subarray delivers better channel performance consistency than traditional discrete T/R modules. With an overall size of only 35mm square and ultra-low profile, it can be flexibly embedded into various miniaturized devices. With unified specifications and standardized interfaces, it supports multi-subarray tiling expansion, high production efficiency and controllable cost. It is widely applicable to array construction and system integration of compact phased array radars and distributed communication platforms.

Key Advantages

  1. Ultra-Compact Design with High Integration
Integrated architecture of silicon-based multi-channel chips and microwave multilayer PCB, with 16 transceiving channels in a standard 4×4 layout. Overall dimension only 35mm×35mm, with compact size and ultra-low profile. It can be flexibly embedded into space-constrained mini devices and terminal payloads, meeting the requirements of miniaturized phased array systems.
  2. Wide Frequency Coverage for Versatile Applications
Operating frequency covers 14~18GHz Ku-band with wider bandwidth and ±45° beam scanning range. It is compatible with multiple system architectures including radar detection, data communication and electronic countermeasures, with strong versatility.
  3. SMT Process for High Consistency & Mass Production
Full SMT manufacturing process ensures better amplitude-phase consistency among channels and higher batch stability compared with traditional discrete T/R modules. With high production efficiency and controllable yield, it is especially suitable for large-scale mass deployment, greatly reducing the overall cost of compact phased array systems.
  4. Standardized Interface for Flexible Array Expansion
Unified specifications and standardized interfaces allow it to be used independently as a compact array unit, or tiled with multiple subarrays to expand into large-scale phased array apertures of different apertures. It greatly reduces system integration workload and is suitable for distributed networking and multi-node deployment scenarios.
  5. Full Functions with Built-in Monitoring & Self-Test
Integrated with RF transceiving and beam steering control, plus real-time working status reporting and channel self-test functions. It facilitates system operation and maintenance and fault location, improving reliability and maintainability of the entire array system.
